Flesh for Olivia

Flesh For Olivia features Misty Mundae deep in bad-girl mode. Apparently it's the last of the Factory 2000 videos put together by William Hellfire and his solid team of collaborators and talent. In the five year run of Factory 2000, Misty Mundae went from an innocent girl in a dormitory and bi-curious sorority girl in training (and in one memorable instant, sex with an actual guy) to drug addict, vampire, pain addict, BDSM dominant, submissive, user and abuser; from victim to victimizer. Good times, good times.
Once the Factory 2000 cast and crew was ultimately subsumed into Seduction Cinema, Misty traded these roles for starring appearances as a Throbbit, an ape-girl, and a spider who runs around the streets of New York. Her roles became suitable for late-night cable and for the eventual mainstream success that landed her a place at the table at various Fangoria conventions and, eventually, the role of a hot vampire chick in a heavy metal video.
So now Erin Brown's quest for mainstream success has led her to, as far as I can tell, obscurity. Oh sure, it looks like she's got a role opposite Lance Henriksen in a movie coming to a Netflix queue near you in 2008, but it's a far cry from the prolific string of videos that ran for five years and ended right about here. So let's take a moment to celebrate the good ol' bad Misty in Flesh For Olivia.
Misty plays a drug addict (Olivia) who's in it bad with her dealer Claudio, played by Dean Paul. In order to secure money for her drugs, Olivia agrees to perform private sex shows for him, lining up the girls to perform with her. Olivia is desperate to find a new girl since the last one ended up dying of an overdose. She checks the listings looking for a roommate, and there she finds Seduction regular A.J. Khan as Melody, an easy mark if there ever was one. Before too long, Olivia has moved in, and Melody is ready to perform for Claudio.
The scene with Mundae and Khan is the centerpiece of the film, and runs at least ten minutes. Olivia is sexually demanding, ordering the innocent and shy Melody around. "Did you ever have someone stick a finger in your ass?" Olivia asks with a devious grin. "I'm sorry, am I being bad?" she asks coyly. When Melody responds, "fuck me," you know you're in for a treat. Olivia obliges the request by removing Melody's panties. "One finger, or two?" she asks, pausing before delivering the punch line. "How about four?" Honey, you forgot three!
Claudio's tastes in shows runs towards the autoerotic, ably supported by Olivia, who eventually adds in the asphyxiation element too. Olivia ties a stocking around the neck of Melody and pulls tight while Melody plays with a dildo. She passes out.
Like I said, this is not your average late-night cable fare! The explicitness of the situations, the characters and the dialogue may not be to everyone's taste, but if you've followed me this far in this review then you probably don't mind seeing a little perversion now and then. The extreme sex that is portrayed brings a welcome grittiness to an otherwise airbrushed genre.
Julian Wells plays A.J. Khan's roommate Alice, and Olivia's next intended victim. Unlike Melody, Alice is totally into the perverse sex show. "I wanna taste you," says Olivia to Alice, and indeed Misty's mouth comes perilously close to Julian's pussy. There's something to be said for the fact that these actresses are so familiar with each other. People complain about seeing the same girls in every movie, but after a while, familiarity breeds, well, familiarity. Wells, Khan and Mundae allow their hands and tongues to rove a bit more freely with each other. Fingers run smoothly over crotches, lips kiss at panties. Everything is just a little bit more explicit than you expect. It's good stuff, and makes me wish that more softcore movies would take things to this extreme just a bit more.
I mean, when was the last time on Cinemax that someone asked, as Olivia does of Alice, to "stick a finger up my ass?" Not recently. I can only hope that Erin Brown will be asking that of Lance Henriksen in their upcoming movie, but I'm not holding my breath.
