The Erotic Ghost

I've always been a fan of schlocky b-movies, movies that never try to be anything more than fun and entertaining in their very badness . The folks at Seduction are becoming masters of the low-budget, slap-it-on-video erotic b-movie, and John Bacchus, who delivered unto us the magnificent Erotic Witch Project, has continued to make us laugh and delight in the sexual frolicking of his perennial cast of Goth Girls.
Lesbians. Lesbians. Lesbians. We don't think that Bacchus has anything else on his brain, and we don't think that he needs to obstruct the carnal female gropings in his films with anything else like technique, story, plot, or cinematography. We like these movies just as they are, thank you very much!
Tammy Parks dusts herself off and stars as a domestic ghost haunting poor lonely housewife, Doris (Darian Caine). Instead of jumping out from behind doorways or dragging chains around the upstairs floors, this ghost prefers to dominate her subject by making her lick her feet, suck on her breasts, and chow down on her ghostly pie. Of course, all favors are returned, and with the addition of two horny devils (and I mean that literally, they have horns jutting out of their foreheads!), played by Victoria Vega and Jade DuBoir, you can be assured that Doris is kept pretty busy satisying an endless supply of lesbian lust.
This movie had me cracking up. There is a side story involving Doris's downtrodden hubbie, Robert (played hilariously by Zachary Winston Snygg) and his experiences at the office where he works. From the loudmouth new guy, "Bob", the weird mailroom guy, "Scooter", the one-screw-loose boss, "Mr. Barker", and the sports nut, "Ted", these scenes are guaranteed to make you laugh. The wacky music alone, played over images of Robert sitting there looking like a depressed loser, is enough to make anyone hoot out loud. Veteran horror babe (and fellow Canuck!) Debbie Rochon makes an appearance as the receptionist, Brenda, who spends her day sleeping or playing Minesweeper on her computer. After seven years she still can't even remember Robert's name.
The sex here is mostly posed and only warmly erotic, but in one scene Jade DuBoir straps on a big black dildo and makes Darian suck on it, something we don't usually see too much of this side of X. Then it's Darian's turn to adorn the plastic manhood and thrust it between Jade's ample breasts.
The editing is a big problem, and the continuity is sometimes so blatantly overlooked that you think they didn't even try to make it better. During the threesome between Victoria, Darian, and Jade, for example, Darian has her panties removed, then in the next cut she's wearing them again. And then they're gone. Also, one scene of Darian working on Tammy's left breast lasts a full minute. C'mon, move it along here...there's another one right beside it that's probably feeling a bit negelected. That brings us to our final comment on the editing: too many repetitive loops. They make five minute scenes out of two minutes of footage, it seems. Some scenes go on much longer than they need to and the viewer just gets tired.
But you know what? Darian is an attractive woman, and even though Goth Girls usually scare the hell out of us with their black eyeliner and spiderweb tattoos, she is one that we don't mind seeing at all.
This film is all about lesbian sex, so if you can see past the need for a story or character development, then by all means indulge. Any movie with a cast credit that reads: KIMBO, as The Syphilitic Stricken Balloon Sales Gorilla just has to be worth watching.
